Critical

Product · Report
Every problem comes with a marked screenshot, a simple explanation, the rule at stake and the exact path to fix it in WordPress, Ad Inserter, Ad Manager or Cloudflare. The fixes become tasks the team marks as done.
Who it is for
A report that only says something is wrong makes the work harder when it is time to fix. The ConsentMode report was designed for those who open WordPress right after reading, whether the site owner, the writer or the ads person.
Each finding answers the same questions, always in the same order: what is wrong, why it matters, where to fix it, how it looks before and after and how to confirm it worked.
When the problem is a setting that applies to the whole site, such as ads.txt or the domain email, it becomes a single task. When it depends on the page, each URL becomes its own task.
Severity
The level tells the size of the risk, not the size of the work.
Can block the account. It is the first to be handled, even if the fix seems small.
High risk or loss of revenue. It must go into the plan right after the critical ones.
Possible gains. Adjustments that improve the experience or revenue with no immediate risk.
Anatomy of a finding
Two types of task
The report separates what is fixed page by page from what is fixed only once.
For problems that depend on the page: short content, a banner stuck to a button, a title that promises too much.
For settings that apply to everything: ads.txt, duplicate tags, footer pages, domain email, language.
What to expect
The report explains and organizes. The decision and the fix remain in your hands.
In ConsentMode
In practice
A team of three people received a policy warning and did not know where to start on a site with hundreds of posts.
The report separated two critical findings, one setup task and a list of URLs. Each person took a part and marked the tasks as they fixed them.
The critical ones were resolved first, in Ad Inserter. The setup task was done only once. When all the tasks were marked, the team checked with a new audit and only then requested the review.
How not to use it
The report helps most when read in the right order.
They are the easiest, but they do not protect the account. Always start with the critical ones.
If the same finding appears on hundreds of pages, fix it in the Ad Inserter block or in the theme.
Use the how to confirm step before marking. A task marked without checking misleads the team.
Review requests have limits at Google. Finish the tasks and check before requesting.
Yes. The report is available in 11 languages.
Each finding explains why it matters and which rule is at stake, whether a Google policy, a Better Ads Standard or a consent rule.
Audits are private. They only appear to other people if you publish the domain's public profile.
No. ConsentMode is read-only. It shows where and how to fix, and the fix is made by you or your team.
Each finding says how to confirm. A new audit, or scheduled monitoring, shows whether the problem is gone.
Marked screenshots, the exact path and tasks the team can mark as done.
